The Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DGCE) in collaboration with the Indonesian Customs and Excise Education and Training Center (CEETC) just held a Regional Workshop on Post Clearance Audit (PCA) on 1-3 October 2019 at the Indonesian CEETC, Jakarta. The workshop was attended
around by 30 people from 10 ASEAN member countries and the ASEAN Secretariat. This workshop aims to improve the capabilities of Customs and Excise employees in ASEAN on Post Clearance Audit (PCA). The main topic discussed in the workshop was the elaboration of the World Customs Organization (WCO) Guidelines to strengthen cooperation and exchange of information between customs administration and tax authorities at the national level.

Participants get an overview of Legal and Operational Framework for PCA; Strategic Planning and Risk Management; PCA and Customs Regimes and Procedures; and Customs and Tax Cooperation presented by PCA expert from DGCE.
